When competition entry fees are and are not refundable
Last updated: June 2026.
Notice: This text reflects an ongoing transition of WantThat.watch to a UK-registered operating company. Some company and legal details are temporary and will be confirmed before paid public launch. Final UK legal documents and registered entity details must be reviewed before public paid competitions open.
1.1 Paid competition entries are non-refundable once your entry has been confirmed into the draw, as set out in the Terms & Conditions. By entering you receive the chance to win immediately, so the statutory cooling-off right for distance contracts does not apply to confirmed competition entries.
1.2 If We cancel a competition (for example for a force majeure event as described in the Terms & Conditions), all entry fees for that competition are refunded to the original payment method.
1.3 If your payment completes but the competition has no remaining capacity for your entries, your order is not entered into the draw and the payment is refunded in full to the original payment method automatically.
1.4 Free postal entries involve no payment and are therefore outside the scope of this policy.
Refunds are issued through our payment provider to the original payment method. Once issued, the time for the funds to appear depends on your card issuer or bank, typically 5–10 business days.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights, including any rights you may have where a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill.
To ask about a payment or refund, email info@wantthat.watch with your order reference and the email address used at checkout.
